What is dreambox?ĭreambox is a Linux-based satellite receiver,made by the german company Dream Multimedia,and it is used to watch scrambled satellite channels and also FreetoAir channels.Watching the scrambled channels is possible with cardsharing that can be purchased online,or you can find daily free sharing by searching many sites that are available in the internet.Dreambox receivers use cccam or other cams like,Newcamd,Mgcam,etc,but the most widely used is Cccam.In this blog we will be covering mostly the dreambox DM500s wich is a clone dreambox made in China,and it is lot cheaper than the original dreambox.To watch scrambled channels the dreambox uses the internet to connect to the card sharing server and receive the decoding codes.Even though the DM500s is a clone and made in china,it is widely used and it is fairly good and stable.The price of the receiver is about 80 dollars,and the you will need about 80 dollars for the cardsharing server for 1 year subscription. You can purchase the cardsharing online,and for this there are many premium cardsharing servers where you can purchase subscription for 1 month,3 months,6 months or 1 year.Some of them are cheaper ,some are more expensive,and some are more stable some are less stable.You can ask them for a c-line for 1 day and test the servers before you make the purchase.Most of them will send you a test line.It will be enough to contact them and ask them.When you make the purchase they send you email with the clines,and installing them is very easy.You will need to ftp to your receiver ,for this you can use this free software wich is called Fillezilla ( ).You copy the clines and you navigate to the folder /var/etc and you right click the fille Cccam.cfg,click edit to open it with notepad,and you delete everything inside the notepad file and paste the codes that you copied from the email.Then you close the file and click save and then click upload back the edited file.Then you can watch the scrambled channels.I will write some of the cardsharing servers,where you can purchase cccam sharing.
